Business manager Ahakuelo meets with helco members

 In his on-going commitment to dutifully represent and serve all 3,300 members of our Local Union, Business Manager/Financial Secretary Brian Ahakuelo has just returned from a three-day trip to Hawaii Island.   He was joined on the trip by Assistant Business Manager Russell Takemoto.   While on the Big Island, Ahakuelo and Takemoto made site visits to HELCO baseyards in Kona, Waimea and Hilo, meeting with over 120 members in the process.   It was a chance for Ahakuelo to address HELCO members as a whole and also a chance for him to meet one-on-one to discuss various individual issues.

It’s all part of an effort by the Local 1260 Management Team to keep open lines of communication.   Even with our improved newsletter, website and Facebook page now up and running, sometimes there’s no substitute for a good old-fashioned “talk story” session.
