Local 1260 Utility Members Earn National Recognition
In the aftermath of the destructive 2018 Camp Fire, IBEW Local 1260 members from Hawaiian Electric, Maui Electric, and Hawaii
Electric Light went to California to help residents rebuild. Recently, those responding members were collectively awarded the Edison Electric Institute’s Emergency Assistance Award for helping Pacific Gas & Electric Company with its restoration efforts.
